City Varsity: Orientation Day 3

Arrived on time for the student manual presentation after an eventful train and taxi ride, which was to start at 10 am, and was essential for me as a first year film student as the manual outlined rules and regulations that had to be adhered to. The presentation was headed by the head of the Directing department, of whom is a member of the Film department. An hour later, I was well informed of what was expected at CV. It was time for lunch, and the heat was terrible, but can be expected for this time of the year. After lunch we were taken, along with other students (whom we found out that they were from the Multi- Media department), to the City Gardens to observe a presentation of the martial art Muaythai, which is like kick boxing, although it was started in Thailand. Whilst watching this presentation, I started chatting to 3 of the Multi- Media students, David, Rosie and Jen. All agreed that the presentation, though interesting in some parts, was not for us. We then left for greener pastures.
